Project M, The Finale

Patrick, wow you are awesome and I hope this contest still propels you to greatness, you deserve it. It must've been such a hard decision to pick between you two (Garrett you are talented but these two are much more experienced and were on a whole new level.) Mike, wow. Can't wait to see what your future holds!

Look at the video...he's so "breathy" and sings through his nose. It's just not that good. I mean it's OK in a Bret Michaels sort of way.

I was just saying that the only contest that matters is in playing real shows and building a real following. All this subjective banter is pointless if an artist can't help themselves in the actual music world. Just like hyping video views and votes, those numbers don't matter because they have no bearing on the real world or real talent. If the results were disappointing then go fight to prove the results wrong. I just hope you like vans.

Why don't you just put the whole show up? At least the performances. If it was only 30 minutes apiece, the video cameras should have been able to handle that....is there anyway we cn see everyone's full performances?

and Garrett or Patrick had won, I would suspect we would hear lots of crazy negativity from the Droho fans. It goes both ways. Again there are many,many types of genre's and many fans to go around. Cheer these people on instead of tearing them down. Musicians should be supportive of each other & give advice to each other. Patrick-- I enjoyed the live performance & easy to listen to, Mike-great job at the eclectic sounds & getting the people jumping & dancing (I am just not into rap, but a lot of people are), I wish you the very best, & Garrett- wonderful set, totally different music style compared to the others. Experience does count for some and there was a wide range of ages- 32,28,22 year old and I bet you anything the 2 more experienced remember doing music at 22. It is so disappointing & sad to see some of the posts. Thank you for all of the people who have posted constructive remarks.

Droho's fan here. None of us dwell on ridiculous things like failure. :-) Move on, find another cause. Global warming? Maybe making the planet green.

The audio from the show sure is bad. I was there and they all sounded much better than the they do on these videos!

Nice Job Triple M. The audio mix on Garrett's song is absolutely horrible. Are you still trying to find ways to justify your winner by making others look bad. I was at the finale. This song did not sound this bad. This whole contest was totally unprofessional.

Had WAY more soul than the other two, way more. Too bad it wasn't a soul contest. I'm sure he's the one you might find the most interesting conversation with.

Just watched all 3 videos.No one stood out.Whitney was the only one who stood out in the contest because of her undenialable voice.She was bounced because she was paired up with the wrong song.Great contest though and goodluck to everyone involved.

at the finale was weak and disappointing. I was so bored that after the first song I decided to drink through the rest of his set. I like Patrick's music, however, his performance was dull. The last portion of this contest was based off of performance and crowd reaction. Crowd reaction for the most part was split, but Mike Droho had the best PERFORMANCE. Hands down. Those that were there can't refute it. I even saw fans of the other contestants congratulating Mike Droho and telling him how impressed they were.

Is called good sportsmanship! It doesn't mean you think they were the best! Droho put on a good show but vocally melodically and lyrically he was not the one that stood out!

Droho didn't just put on a good show...he put on a show that beat Ramquist and Sweeney. Your commenting on Droho's "vocal, melodic, and lyrics" has nothing to do with the fact that he won. Droho was "not the one that stood out"? Okay...

A fan of Patrick's throughout the contest and I feel that the results were exactly how they should have been. Mike 1st, Patrick 2nd, Garrett 3rd. Each musician would clearly have a different following, and Mike's style was best suited for the Club Tavern.

I find it funny that people originally said this was a song writing contest and got mad when they said Garrett was a great performer. Now all of a sudden it turned into a performance contest and they aren't complaining...

if these guys wanna make they better be able to deal with criticism a lot better than they have. Suck it up guys.

How long has this finale been over with? A week. Let it go already. Droho won and nothing is gonna change that. Some of you really do need to get a life. And for the record Droho is not gay and don't go making accusations about someone that you don't even know. If all of you think you can do better, then do the challenge when it comes back around again. Droho is very talented and deserves to be where he is today by working really hard. Droho fan and I'm behind you dude.
