All I got is WOW. His voice is amazing and there are so many different levels to it. I like Tecku but his voice is very single tone while Garrett's has a layered edge to his voice. Keep rocking out guys

I was just on his website and he wrote a long thing about being creative. He seems smart to me.

They have brought consistency both weeks. They have style that extends beyond one song. Great stuff guys!!

I was rather bored by WHitney's performance this week.

Most talented, most original....I have heard Patrick for a few years...He already has a "Madison" hit but wrote another great song about "Madison". Unbelievably talented

Why get down on Tyler? Just because you are jealous of his creative talents, stoic presence, and his manish good looks is no reason to write childish things about a terrific young man and enormous talent with a super personality! Go back to being angry about beauty and creativity with the Packer's draft choices!!! Mark Saigon could give you lessons on what it means to be on the bottom and still have an insatiable drive for the top IR!!

When your technique includes a weak pinky, it is hard for the casual listener to hear the diff between your diminished major chords and your 9th chords. THen you also have to slap your guitar in frustration because no one appreciates your work.

From week 1 Whitney, hands down. Mike and Garret ARE stars, and Mark had the best arrangement. From week 2, Hugh pretty much blew away the "competition". Micheal Tecku put in a great performance. He's sort of like a younger, better-looking versionof Hugh anyway, and probably a better singer to boot, so I felt pretty good voting for him.

He has been and always will be one of the most talented people I have ever heard. He has what it takes to be right up with the top musicians today. He deserves every second to shine and GOOD LUCK BUDDY!!!

Also, I don't who responded to the first 'is garrett bald' comment, but I don't know if you are being serious or not about saying she and the whole cancer thing. But I have known Garrett for the past 3 years and 1. He is a guy, so maybe you should lock that up. and 2. maybe you should be more considerate of saying stupid things such as having cancer. Even if your family hasn't been affected by cancer, A LOT of people have been. You need to watch what you say. I was surprised, but I liked Tyler's song the best. I liked how his references to Madison were subtle. I totally thought the line about "3 days in county jail" was great...

I like the song about Madison that Mike Droho wrote. I like all the discriptions of the town and the story about him jumping in the fountain.

I agree with the first posting, people need to act a little bit mature and realize that if you dont like a song, make a comment on how you dont like it, dont make an attack at that individual... These guys ( and girl) have ALL worked hard to get where they are today, they all try their best. Give them a little credit where credit is due!!

Listening to Mark's song again and enjoying it. Even outside of this challenge, I think it's a great song and it's super catchy.

Mike's sound is amazing, the way he can turn his sound into differnt forms is awesome and his madison song is so reat since he is the only on that captured madison without using the word madisnon,.... the best out of the group by far! Keep it up!

Where is it written in the contest rules that Lance Droho isn't supposed to be spoken about in this forum. Shame on all of you. Lance is pretty darn good and should last 2 or 3 more weeks. He has strong pinky fingers and good technique.

Seriously, look up Jiffy the dog from Kenosha. The dog was so fat it got froze to an ice covered sidewalk all night last winter. The owner didn't know what to besides throwing a blanket over the animal. In the morning the fire dept. came and poured warm water over the dog to free him!!!! Jiffy is doing great now can someone write a song already or what? Here: Jiffy went for a walk and never came home. He took a wrong turn and got lost in the snow. Jiffy stopped for second when he lost sight of home, sat his big butt and froze it to pavement ohhh why did he roam. see easy!!!

Having listened to all these videos numerous times both last week and this week, I feel like Scott and Patrick are the best "true songwriters" in this competition. There is a depth there that is lacking in many of the other contestants.

I can't express enough how great Patrick Sweeney is...He writes and sings from the heart and that touches my heart...

I can totally hear Garrett's songs on the radio. He's amazing! I heard one of his songs and thought it was a new hit song so I you tubed it but nope, it was an original Garrett Ramquist song. Wish I had it on cd

I am not from Madison, but would move there if more of it's residents are like Scott; bright, introspective and mature. A great contrast from the other contestants who sound like college party guys and singer wann-a-bees. Scott's lyrics draw you inand make you think. By far the best.

Last week you seemed open to the idea of asking the songwriters if they wanted to post their lyrics - so what happened? Technically, this wouldn't be too hard to do, and I think the various fans, not to mention the contestants themselves would appreciate being to read the actual words of these many talented songwriters. What do you say? As suggested a week ago, it would be each person's option to share their words or not.

Very sad when other's choose to re-word anothers "appropriate" comments. What I am saying is - great give your opinions, but since you are supposed to be at least 18 yrs of age to post, show some maturity in your opinions.

Unlike the vast majority of the praise, disparagement, and speculations about who are the "top three" songwriters/performers to date, I’ve judged each person, each week, based on what he or she did with their words, music, and voices on MMM’s studio stage using. That’s been my mindset, although I’ve heard several of the contestants before this contest began. Still, in Round #2, I listened and watched closely to everyone, and, later, listened again to the first thirty seconds of each performance. In the end, I thought Tecku rose above the rest of the unevenly talented field of nine. Why? He simply seemed the hungriest, most stage savvy songwriter/performer. He gave me the impression there was nothing more important to him on earth than getting the judges to vote him back to the contest next week. Will he deliver like this again? I don’t know, but I do know this is how I plan to keep evaluating all of these gutsy songwriters rather than fawning over them like so many “cheerleaders.”

Still's once wrote in his classic song "For What It's Worth" that people were mainly blindly saying my side is best. I ain't saying that when I say Michael Tecku's songwriting, singing, and pereforming strikes me as one of the best out of a handful of more or less memorable, moving songs about Madison.

choreography along with singing and songwriting skills should be part the judging criteria - you could even alow penny loafer as a substitute for smelly tap dancing shoes. Given Hugh's well known feet expertise he be a valuable asset for this part of the competition.
