May 12, 2008: Swim...Bike...Run...Swim... It's been a while since I've posted here.  There's basically two reasons for this... May 1, 2008: MEDIUM! First off, let me say, I didn't take on the challenge of the Ironman in order to loose weight.  Although that is a nice side-effect... April 29, 2008: Sometimes graffitti is so helpful. Not that I would condone such actions (graffitti) or for that matter accuse my friends/teammates of doing it, but... April 18, 2008: Blow Wind Blow I mentioned the other day that I had ridden the Ironman course on a windy Sunday morning... April 15, 2008: But It's Better Than Driking Alone. Remember that line from that old Billy Joel song..."They're sharing a drink they call loneliness..." April 14, 2008: 70 Degrees by Wednesday... ...and I can't wait!  The Weekend was not a fun weekend of workouts... April 10, 2008: Ah! A Good Night's Sleep! I know I took a pretty round-about way to get there, but... April 9, 2008: I Have Just One Question... It's not a tough question, but so far nobody has been able to give me a good answer... After a particularly long run a couple of weeks ago, Jamie, one of our coaches told us that soaking in a tub of ice-water would... Jan. 25, 2008: Has anybody seen Pat's wife? I got really excited over the weekend when I was at the health club running on the treadmill and watching all the TVs.  I saw the commercial for... Jan. 18, 2008: Goals are great, but... So, I went for a run last night.  Not outside in the cold, but in the health club, on a treadmill, with my I-pod... Jan. 16, 2008: Celebrating Little Victories! I got to thinking about this on a long run the other day.  I've really had some pretty cool victories to celebrate over the last couple of months... Why not? Actually, I started thinking about that the other day...Why Ironman.  I mean, there's any number of challenges I could have taken on... In January. In Shorts! If it's Global Warming, I have to admit, I'm all for it... It's been a while since I've done this, my I-pod has been out of service, but it's fixed now so... Dec. 28, 2007: Is it a cult? Or a frat party? I mentioned yesterday that we had our team holiday party last weekend.  As we were leaving the party I asked Laura if she enjoyed herself... Dec. 27, 2007: I Won!!!!!! That's right, I won!  Well, I didn't actually win the Ironman and I really don't expect to, but... Dec. 26, 2007: Back From Vacation Well, I was on vacation last week and this week is a rest week in my Ironman training... Today is the day to give the gift of life and take a break from training... Dec. 12, 2007 Today's workout called for 30 minutes working on my core. So, I got up early...
