“Happy Hour” can be found on Weezer’s latest album, Pacific Daydream, which dropped over the weekend. And even though we’re only a few days past the album’s release, it sounds like there is already another album in the works. And by “in the works,” we mean it could be here as early as May 2018.

Wild, we know.

In a recent interview with Dazed, the band’s frontman Rivers Cuomo explained how he and the band were initially planning a follow-up to 2016’s self-titled “White Album,” aptly named the “Black Album.” Apparently Pacific Daydream just kind of came about before that, but The Black Album is almost done and could be here in Spring 2018. Following in the footsteps of bands like Fall Out Boy, Weezer may have a more “electronic,” less-‘90s feel on The Black Album.

More new Weezer? We’ll take it!
