LISTEN: Two Unreleased Beck Songs Have Surfaced

By: Maura O'Malley

March 1, 2017

This weekend, some new Beck music surfaced. And by new we actually mean kinda old. Okay, we’ll call a spade a spade: It’s definitely old Beck music. But said old music is new to us, so there's that.

The first song is “Curfew,” a song that was used in director D.J. Caruso’s I Am Number Four back in 2011. Underneath that is an unnamed instrumental track. According to Pitchfork, both songs were shared by Caruso, and according to us, both songs are worth a listen.

While we did get the killer track “Wow” last year, it’s still unclear when Beck’s forthcoming album will be released, as that date's been pushed back multiple times. At any rate, these newly leaked clips are a nice reminder of how sweet it is to hear new stuff from Beck. The countdown is on.
