Jack White is back with a surprise release. I repeat: Jack White is back!

The below promotional film, War Cry: The Battle of the Hawk and the Raven, from the sporting goods company Warstic is soundtracked by Mr. White’s new release, “Battle Cry.”

War Cry seeks to promote the company’s baseball bats and co-stars Warstic co-owner and Detroit Tigers second baseman, Ian Kinsler, and Anthony “Thosh” Collins of the Native American charity The Native Wellness Institute. An investor in the Warstic company, Jack White will get to hear “Battle Cry” used as Ian Kinsler’s walk-up song.

According to a post on White’s Facebook page, this new track is the “Official Warstic Anthem,” and it’ll be available as a limited-edition, gold vinyl 7” for Record Store Day on April 22. It’s currently available to download.

In addition to the Record Store Day contributions, Jack White will donate a portion of all “Battle Cry” proceeds to Native American charity the Well for Culture Program via The Native Wellness Institute.
