It's back! Every Wednesday at 7:15, we play songs from the horrible iPod Kitty found while dumpster diving.

World's Worst iPod:Judy Collins "Send in the Clowns"

Are you as worried as we are about the pending nationwide shortage of clowns? Now it's not as serious as the big Velveeta shortage from earlier this year, but this is defnitely somewhat serious!

The news prompted us to choose a clown-related song off the World's Worst iPod, and that's Judy Collins' version of "Send in the Clowns." The song actually hit the charts twice, in 1975 and 1977, and was picked as Song of the Year in the Grammy Awards (even though the song goes back to 1973 and the Sondheim musical "A Little Night Music,")

We didn't have a lot of people call in to defend the song. And even this Muppets Show version doesn't end the way we'd like it to.

Then there's this version of the song, which makes us realize that perhaps a clown shortage is a good thing.
