World's Worst iPod

It's back! Every morning at 7:15, we play songs from the horrible iPod Kitty found while dumpster diving.

World's Worst iPod: Those Were The Days

This song was originally a Russian romance song called "Dorogoi dlinnoyu".  It became popular in 1968 when Mary Hopkin recorded it.  It went all the way to number 2 on the charts!  It may be corny, but Paul McCartney really liked it because he was the producer of the song.  It was recorded on the Beatles' Apple Records label.  McCartney even had Hopkin record it in four other languages.

Those were the days of Scott Walker and the real people of wealth
Those were the day when Scott Walker ruined the beautiful State of Wisconsin. No rights for workers, then making them into scape goats. Causing serious dark and depressive work environments Destroying the natural environment Selling State owned power plants and land to the highest bidder Creating meaningless policies that do not help Wisconsin citizens and passing bills that should how ignorant Wisconsinites are. "Here's a couple of buck off your taxes" In return we will charge you double for all other services. Wasting time by creating stupid tax holidays Fining State Employee's $50.00 for every time they get smoking. The song will help us remember the days of a beautiful, happy, robust State for that's owned and for everyone living in it. Sorry, I know this sounds bad, sad and yes mad. It's a depressing song when you think of Wisconsin then, now and it's future.
