So I've been working out for a couple of weeks now at Capital Fitness and I have to admit I'm surprised at how good I already feel. I've been working with a couple of personal trainers named Pete and Brian. You may recall that about two weeks ago they ran some simple tests for me. It seemed like really basic stuff like marching in place with my eyes closed or swinging my hips back and forth.
What I discovered was that I was using a lot of the wrong muscles for simple movements. It's not going to change overnight, but I have noticed some differences already. For example, I've been doing some basic exercises to wake up the muscles in my back. To be honest, I didn't even know I had that many muscles in my back!
Since the workouts began, I've noticed that I'm already sitting a lot taller when I'm working at my desk. I've also noticed a whole lot more energy in general.
I can't imagine what will happen when I actually start to lose some inches of my waist!!!!
