Who Can Say No To 5 Dollar Albums?

Online retailer Amazon is holding a promotion through the end of July in which customers can purchase mp3 albums for only 5 dollars!  There are 100 albums available for this low price through Amazon with an assortment of artists and styles. If you are looking for some new jams for the week or for later down the road, swing over to Amazon and check out the vast collection. Glancing over the list of 5 dollar albums, here are some of the recordings that stand out to me as worthy download material if you don't already have a copy.
Broken Bells by Broken Bells Gimme Fiction by Spoon
Oracular Spectacular by MGMT Manners by Passion Pit
Futuresex/Lovesounds by Justin Timberlake Homework by Daft Punk
There are plenty of other great albums on the list not mentioned above.  Be sure to check out all hundred and find yourself a steal! -Sam Ryan

And I can recommend The Shins "Wincing the Night Away," Brandi Carlile "Give up the Ghost," and John Butler Trio "April Uprising." "Best of the Cutting Crew" is also available, but seems extremely overpriced at $5!!!

Actually, they do this every month. Each month 100 different albums are on sale for $5.00. Keep in mind these are downloads and not CD's. I've bought quite a few over the years and the only downside I have come across is that when downloading a live recording, you are actually downloading all the tracks individually, so there is a break between every song. This is kind of annoying if you like the continuity of a live show.

I must say that MGMT "Oracular Spectacular" and Justin Timberlake's "Futuresex / Lovesongs" are two of my favorite albums to put on and dance! Great way to LEGALLY get music!

Twist and Turn
We just received word of what this weeks twist is, and...oh boy. We need to take our "signature song" and cut it to only 2:30 without going over. Amberstein does not simply play 2:30 versions of our songs...so this could be interesting. Last...
