Another year..and another great lineup of entertainment at La Fete De Marquette!
The Wil-Mar Neighborhood Association is putting on a great party (and fundraiser) this weekend in Madison. The free entertainment is almost mind-boggling, with Sonny Landreth and Marcia Ball on Friday, eclectic French music and the Iguanas on Saturday, and more free music Sunday, with Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk wrapping it all up on Sunday night.
Le Fete is truly a great neighborhood festival, with excellent craft beer and wine, delicious ethnic foods, and top notch live music. Here's a great insentive for you to get there early on Friday...it's happy hour with all beer, wine and soda just $2, plus free hors d’oeuvres, prepared by Fete de Marquette food vendors. Happy Hour goes from 4:30 to 6:30, and it's hosted by Triple M's very own Jonathan & Kitty!
