The Haunting in Conneticut

hauntingThe Haunting in Connecticut Rated PG-13 Running Time: 1 hour 32 minutes Jonathan's rating: 2.5 stars out of 4 A good horror movie sticks with me long after I leave the theatre.  There will be a few scenes that stick in my mind and make me check behind the shower curtain at home to make sure no one is there.  The Haunting in Connecticut had some freaky scenes, but the movie certaintly did not stick with me. This is the supposed true story of a family battling not only a child's cancer, but some rather angry spirits.  Virginia Madsen plays Sara Campbell.  She's a mom who is doing everything possible to help her son, Matt played by Kyle Gallner.  Matt is battling cancer and the hospital providing treatment is far from their home so they decide to rent a home closer near the hosptial. Mom, Dad, two younger siblings and a cousin all move to a house that turns out to be a former funeral home.  Yikes!  There are scary things going on in the house or is it just in Matt's mind?  There are some creepy scenes but in the end I didn't have to leave the lights on while going to sleep. star You can see The Haunting in Conneticut at Star Cinema.  Click here for showtimes.

I had a desire to make my own commerce, but I did not have enough of money to do that. Thank goodness my dude suggested to use the credit loans. Thus I used the student loan andmade real my desire.

It's hard to believe that Donny Osmond scored his second biggest solo hit in 1989, but it's true! "Soldier of Love" went all the way to #2 on the charts. When the song was released, the record company was afraid no one would buy a...

World's Worst iPod: Exile "Kiss You All Over"
Kitty thought this song was an example of country disco and was not a fan...but just about everybody else was. "Kiss You All Over" was #1 for four weeks in 1978, and was probably one of the year's best songs. Exile rocks out with the...

The next Jonny Lang? Quinn Sullivan is the real deal
I was up in Wausau for the Big Bull Falls Blues Fest, and had a great time watching all the great live music. The big surprise of the day was the guy who played at 3pm. He's just 15 years old and is a good friend of Buddy Guy, and even got to play...

World's Worst iPod: Young MC "Bust a Move"
Kitty apppeared to be all alone on her dislike of this song, which made it to #7 on the charts in 1989. Rolling Stone described the song this way: "a G-rated funk-bomb integral to hip-hop's eventual mainstream acceptance." The...
