Zooniversity is at it again - it’s #6 on YouTube’s most watched music videos today! You may have heard their previously released Badger-centric tracks like “My Biddy” and “Coastie Song (What’s A Coastie?)”
Who is Zooniversity, you ask? After doing some investigation, we found a Twitter feed for the students behind this very creative + surprisingly well edited video. MCs Quincy Kwalae and Beef borrowed the beat from Cali Swag District’s “Teach Me How To Dougie” and turned its minimalist stomp into “Teach Me How To Bucky.” The real treat is the cameos including Chancellor Biddy Martin, marching band director Mike Leckrone, orange piccolo guy, the statue from the Camp Randall Memorial Arch, and that brown party house outside of gate nine. It’s pure gold. Or should I say…red + white.
