Stringing along caption WINNERS!

We end the work week with this week’s caption contest winners, starting with, as always, the honorable mentions.

Any PeeWee reference works for me.
Tammy A
Ooooh! A preview of one of the new characters for the reboot of Pee Wee's Playhouse!

Wishes can be dangerous!

Rob Severson
Never, EVER rub Aladdin's lamp and carelessly wish to become "uniquely provocative musician created by a master craftsman".

This speaks for itself!
J Ho
"See, you put your weed right here."

Pinocchio is always a good call.

Susan
Gepetto became bored with marionettes, and wanted his next son to have a talent.

We received three captions on the same theme, with the first 2 coming in a close 2nd and 3rd place

Steve M
What's that Mr. Uke? You wanna be a Precision Bass? Well, I wanted to be Les Freaking Paul and look how that turned out.
Kurt V
Although he didn't have the financial backing or tech savvy of his brother Les, Paul Paul was able to keep his shop open with investors such as Tiny Tim and Don Ho. Oh yeah, and Hasbro too.

And this week’s WINNER because of Fess Paul is Paul!
Paul H H
Les Paul, known as the Wizard of Waukesha for his ahead-of-their-time guitar innovations, was always just a bit disappointed that his offspring, Fess Paul (pictured here in his home workshop in Cornucopia, WI), never quite achieved similar heights of guitar inventiveness.
