Springsteen Tour Info

What are we? Chopped liver?

Bruce Springsteen has announced his American tour, but the closest he'll get to Madison is Detroit (April 12) and Cleveland (April 17).

The tour in support of the album Wrecking Ball (due out March 6) will feature the E Street Band, starting in Atlanta and wrapping up May 2 in Springsteen's home state of New Jersey. Then it's off to Europe until the end of July.

Let's hope that the band has a real fire in the belly and announces a second American tour this year after the European tour concludes. And a show in Madison sure would be nice.

A girl can dream.

World's Worst iPod:Leo Sayer "When I Need You"
Boy this one really re-kindled the fire of teen angst! Leo Sayer had a number 1 hit in 1977 with the song "I Need You," a sad song about being on the road and away from the one you love. It was such a popular song, he got to sing it on the Muppet...

World's Worst iPod:Terence Trent D'Arby "Sign Your Name"
"Sign Your Name," Terence Trent D'Arby's follow-up to "Wishing Well" was on the radio a lot in 1988...it made it up to #4 on the charts in the United States. Its repetitive chorus is almost hypnotic, and most likely ear worm inducing (sorry.)...

World's Worst iPod: Neil Sedaka "Laughter in the Rain"
Neil Sedaka had a bunch of hit singles in the 1960's, and some folks probably wished he would have stayed back in the land of Moldy Pre-Beatle Oldies. But Neil came roaring back to life in the 1970's. Somehow, his falsetto singing voice still...

World's Worst iPod: Billy Ocean "Get Outta My Dreams Get Into My Car"
This might be one of the most unintentionally hilarious songs of the 1980s, but it's a catchy little number and most people wanted to hear "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car," by Billy Ocean. It was a #1 hit for the Caribbean born singer in...
