In the picture, you'll see a fraction of the tent city that surrounds us. It's really quite amazing. It goes on for as far as the eye can see. It's pretty cool to be in the center of it, knowing that it wasn't here 2 days ago and knowing it will not be here 2 days from now.
But that's not the point of this post. Look above the roofs of the tents. Partly cloudy, pleasant summer blue. The weather - relatively speaking - had been gorgeous. I mean, it's still a summer festival. It's in the 80's and you need to hydrate. But there's been a constant light breeze and no sign of mini heat strokes. The legendary relentless sun? No shade? Now the only good thing about Tiffany having a hit with this...
Like me, you probably try to be Earth friendly every day, but since it is Earth Day, you want to do a little something extra. Here are some ideas I considered, but for some reason decided against.
1. Hold a seance on Gaylord Nelson's grave. The...
The hours grow closer and closer as I wait to see which one of us is going home tonight. For last week's performance I gave my all to "Drive-By Heartache" and I hope that the judges heard the lyrics and the melodies. For me a song...
I never thought I would see the day where chocolate pudding showed up on a list of most expensive dishes. I feel like someone should contact Bill Cosby about this.
More outrageiously priced food here; be ready to pick your jaw off the floor.
I had so much fun with last weeks challenge and performance. The first elimination was really nerve racking and losing Carrel was a big bummer. I am so glad she still played her song because it was BEAUTIFUL.
This week, the challenge is...
