Come July 4th, I will do something I never thought I'd ever do. I am moving to the West Side. Gas prices and the beltline have finally done me in.
I have been in Madison for the majority of my 30 years in Wisconsin. I first moved to Sun Prairie to work at 92 WMAD back when it was a rock station. At the time, there was nothing but green space between SP and East Towne. I have lived near Woodman's east, near Oscar Mayer and for a very long time, in the Monona area. In fact, I have lived in my apartment for 12 and 1/2 years, longer than I have lived in any one residence in my life.
I loved the East Side, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
I have a LOT of stuff. I have things that were in my parents house that I inherited when my dad moved out here from NY. I have furniture that was his when he passed in 2005. Tim actually moved in HIS stuff ( how dare he! ) in 2006.

We have 33 crates for the records and CD's, and probably 15 boxes of books. Thankfully, we are moving into a large townhouse.
