I don’t know if this is real, but there may be a company that creates a stereo system for your coffin. The company is called Pause and according to the website they make a sound system with tiny speakers to play music for you in the afterlife.
The Catacombo sound system “employs a pair of two way speakers, tweeters and a divine 8” subwoofer fined tuned to the coffin’s unique interior acoustic space.” It sounds fancy and creepy at the same time. This sound system also allows loved ones to ad songs to your eternal playlist.
I’m not sure this is such a great idea. What if you have a relative you didn’t get along with here on earth? Would they be free to add songs to your list that you absolutely hated?!
I'm not sure why Pete Yorn decided to name his new music project after a European cave dwelling aquatic salamander, but if he stops by to play us some songs in Studio M, we'll have to ask him.
