What does Kitty have to say?

Kitty's back..from her first Springsteen show

brucenstevie Listen to my audio review here Bruuuuuuuuce! I've been to a lot of concerts in my life, and none of them were life-changing experiences. Neither was this one, but it was damn close! I knew it was going to be a great show when Bruce came down into the audience during the 2nd or 3rd song, and was then body-passed back up to the stage by the crowd. At one point it appeared they were going to send him the wrong direction..but then the current sent him the right way...and he was back on stage, limbs intact. He didn't play all the songs I requested, but I was completely fine with the songs he did choose, and was extremely stoked when he played "Kittys' Back," just for me! After the band finished with the complete "Born to Run" album, they started taking suggestions from the audience. A lot of people who were standing in the "pit" made huge signs indicating their requests. Bruce gathered a bunch of them up, and then decided which ones to play. Some fans also threw Santa hats on stage, and despite the fact that Bruce said it was "too early," they got me feeling all holly jolly with "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." And Clarence Clemons even did the ho-ho-ho's! A little later in the 3+ hour show, he grabbed another sign from the audience. It had a picture of a baby on it in a Bruce T-shirt, and said something like "2 Weeks Ago I got LIVING PROOF." Apparently the band had not done "Living Proof " since 2003, so Bruce had to teach it to them as they went along.  I was wondering if they really didn't know it, or if they were just acting that way to add to the drama. Those were just a couple highlights from the show that I'm sure I will be raving about for quite some time. If you know me, I apologize in advance for telling you over and over how cool it was. Because it's not going to stop any time soon. Somebody in the audience taped the band making their way through "Living Proof," and put it on Youtube already!

I've been to 4 Springsteen concerts before this one, but none compared to the excitement and incredible audience interaction as this one. I doubt that Bruce can ever top Sunday's show in Milwaukee.

World's Worst iPod: Torn Between Two Lovers by Mary MacGregor
Today's song was written by Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary. It was inspired by the 1957 novel Doctor Zhivago. No one was inspired by the song this morning. It was rejected by almost all the listeners.
Kitty used to be a Goth--almost
Today is World Goth Day, a day to celebrate the post-punk, anti-establishment, dark clothes-wearing subculture. I'm pretty sure I was a Goth for at least for little while, for two reasons. 1) I almost hardly ever wear pastels. 2) I used to...

World's Worst iPod: Funky Cold Medina by Tone Loc
