Meet Jer Coons, a 20 year old who MIGHT have been on American Idol if he hadn't slept through the auditions. Now, since his bio also says he was raised by a family of marsupials until he was 6, I think we need to take that American Idol comment with a grain of salt.
He's been compared to lots of artists like Howie Day jack Johnson and Jason Mraz and has some pretty funny comments about the comparisons on his website: click here
However...the kid's music speaks for itself. His debut album " Speak" is out and is full of catchy songs that sound familiar the first time you hear them.
