I'm already cranky and this is only the first day I had to scrape snow off my car in the morning. I know I should have a better attitude towards winter. I mean, I DO live in Wisconsin and have lived here for almost 30 years. You'd think I'd be used to it by now. But nooooo. I grew up in upstate NY where we had 4 distinct, 3 month seasons. Winter came in December, and was gone by late March. Now that's normal. But here... winter drags on forever. I never had to plug in the engine block on my car when I was living back east. It never really got that cold. Sure, there was a lot of snow, but last years 100 inches set the bar kinda high. SIGH. I used to ski when I was a kid but I was terrible at it and was always scared on the chair lift. I have no kids to play in the snow with and I think i'd look pretty silly making my very own snow fort. I also hate humidity, so don't tell me to move to Florida, cuz that ain't happening any time soon.
