Bob Dylan is certainly full of surprises. I was surprised when he became a pitchman for Victoria's Secret. I was caught off guard when he brought in Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter to co-write his last album.
And frankly I was astonished to learn that Dylan is apparently recording a Christmas album. That's right. A Christmas album.
When I think of artists recording Christmas albums, I think of guys like Perry Como and Johnny Mathis, or maybe Barry Manilow. It just doesn't seem...well..cool. And he is Jewish too, come to think of it.
He's reportedly already recorded a few songs for it. Uncut Magazine is speculating about some of the tracks..including Sleigh Lady Sleigh, and Girl From the North Pole Country.
Loving puns as I do, I had to get in the act as well. Here are my suggestions:

I just can't wait to see Dylan's Christmas special! And I hope he comes out with Christmas cards and decorations too. He'd look cute on top of my tree, don't you think?
