Who's excited about the new Coldplay song?
Coldplay is supposedly working on a new album to follow their 2011 release, Milo Xyloto. But we don't have to wait until that album comes out, whenever that will be, to hear a new song.

This week the band debuted the song "Midnight" on their website, and will most likely be playing it live when they to go South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

I like the dreamy, ethereal nature of the song, but the vocals seem over-processed to me. What do you think?

Fresh New Music : The Devil Makes Three
Meet The Devil Makes Three, a fun trio originally from Vermont, but now making music in sunny California. Their sound is a blend of bluegrass, old time music, folk, blues, jazz and rockabilly! Quite a versatile  band.

They released their first album back in 2002, but didn’t start to make an impact until 2011.. now on a big label, New West records, they  are poised to take their music to a larger audience.

You can see The Devil Makes Three on April 29 at the Majestic
Get in the mood with their song “ Stranger”

Fresh New Music :Benmont Tench
You can’t have a good band without world class musicians performing with you. One reason Tom Petty’s albums are so great is the Heartbreakers.
A founding member of the Heartbreakers, keyboardist Benmont Tench is one world class musician,  performing withJohnny cash, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones and Elvis Costello, just to name a few.
Now Benmont calls on his friends to help with his solo album, 37 years in the making, ‘ You Should be So Lucky”, and with friends like Don Was, Ryan Adams, Tom Petty and Ringo  Starr you’re bound to release an excellent album, which he has.

Here is the first single, “ Blonde Girl, Blue Dress”.

World's Worst iPod:Escape Club "Wild Wild West"
Remember when we were headed for the 90s..and grooving to the Escape Club? This band from London scored a number 1 hit in 1988 with the song "Wild Wild West." It's probably the only song you remember from that band--but they weren't a...

World's Worst iPod: Wayne Newton "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast"
With Father's Day coming up, we thought we'd choose one of the greatest dad songs of all time.  But since that song wasn't on the iPod, we decided to go with "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast" by Wayne Newton. This song made...

Day 4: The Final Day of Bonnaroo
Today was another busy day at Bonnaroo. We started the day off by seeing Shakey Graves. I missed his show in Madison earlier this year so he was a must see on my list. Loved him! Right as he ended, a press conference with Ed Helms, Abigail...

Day 3: Saturday
Saturday was a very busy day! So many Triple M bands to see! So many concerts were back to back, so we did a lot of walking back and forth from the stages to the media compound. If you're ever in need of getting more steps in during the day,...

Day 2: Friday - Variety, the Spice of Life
Day 2 is upon us! Despite being up fairly late and not sleeping super well (first time camping...I'll get used to it I'm sure), I was hoping to sleep in just a little bit, but my body had other plans. It woke me up at 5:45am for the hell of it. I...

Hey all! It's your Bonnaroo Backstage Blogger Kellie here! I finally have some down time to write about my experiences.  My sister and I left for Bonnaroo at about 5:30am on Thrusday morning with quite a full car. Both the back seat and the...

World's Worst iPod: Engelbert Humperdinck "After the Lovin'"
One of the great things about radio in the 60s and 70s is the variety of music that made it onto the radio.  A rock song by Led Zeppelin could be followed up by Paul Anka or Andy Williams. A polka could make it to top 40 right alongside a disco song...

5 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Breese Stevens Field
