Since Halloween is almost here, you're probably wondering "What are those gosh darn Zombeatles up to?"
You may remember their album "Meet the Zombeatles," or their highly acclaimed documentary "The Zombeatles: All You Need is Brains."
These days the undead alteregos of our friends the Gomers are getting very restless, as they search high and low for more brains to hold! They're hoping to create an animated feature all about the band and their flesh eating ways, and need your help via kickstarter. (Click here for more info).
But despite their busy schedule, they have gotten caught up in the "Gangnam Style" craze, with a very Zombeatles twist.
This Friday night's episode of CSI:New York is going to be a little different. For one thing, this is an episode you're going to want to turn up loud!
Music from Green Day's album Uno! as well as the forthcoming Dos! and Tres! records will be featured exclusively...no other soundtrack music will be used.
So this is a great opportunity to get an idea of what the next two albums will be like..and enjoy some gritty violent drama as well.
What's extra cool about this? The entire first thirty minutes of the show will have no dialog at all.
The Rolling Stones have released their first new studio recording in seven years!
"Doom and Gloom" will be part of a 50-song greatest hits package, called Grrr! which comes out November 13th in the United States.
You'll be able to buy it on CD and vinyl, or as a deluxe edition, or if you're really hardcore, you can get the super deluxe version.
The fancy schmancy super deluxe box will include a couple of books, a poster, some postcards, a bonus CD of previously unreleased first ever studio recordings, a cottage where Mick Jagger spent the weekend with Marianne Faithful, and one of Charlie Watts' impeccable suits!
The Wallflowers are out with their first new album since Rebel, Sweetheart in 2005.
Glad All Over features, in addition to Jakob Dylan, original Wallflowers' bassist Greg Richling and keyboard player Rami Jaffee, as well as drummer Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Joe Strummer's Latino Rockabilly War) and guitarist Stuart Mathis.
Dylan also nabbed Mick Jones from the Clash to do a little singing on "Reboot the Mission."
Rolling Stone gives the record 3 stars and says" the group has picked up where it left off: with sharp roots-rock songs full of sturdy hooks, deadpan jokes and pathos that sneaks up on you."
The Wallflowers are touring in support of Glad All Over, playing songs from the new album as well as old faves. They play the Majestic Theatre October 29th. Ticket info here.
If you want to see the new James Bond movie, Skyfall, you have to wait until November 5th.
If you want to hear the theme song from the movie, sung by the darling of the planet, Adele, the wait is over. The song was officially released October 5th, which is the 50th anniversary of the first James Bond movie, Dr. No.
She co-wrote the song "Skyfall" with Paul Epworth..and most critics say it really has that James Bond vibe.
Today is World Goth Day, a day to celebrate the post-punk, anti-establishment, dark clothes-wearing subculture.
I'm pretty sure I was a Goth for at least for little while, for two reasons.
1) I almost hardly ever wear pastels.
2) I used to...
Hello to all from Nfusion. Another round of challenges has moved beyond us all. Congrats to those of us lucky enough to have survived to this point. Sad to see the others eliminated as they were all very creative and talented. Good Bye to our new friends...
This morning it seemed like just about everyone was in the mood for some Funky Cold Medina...except Kitty. This ridiculous song made it all the way to number 3 in 1989. Jonathan says any song that references advertising dogs from the 80's has got...
Madison's summer music festival season kicks off this weekend with Brat Fest at Willow Island, where there are more bands than you can shake a bratwurst at! Check out the Brat Fest website to plan your itinerary.

It's a miracle that both Jonathan and KItty wanted to hear Barry Manilow this morning. They were not alone. Plenty of Fanilow's called in to vote yes. One caller claimed to have seen Manilow in concert 25 times!
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, it is another gorgeous Monday, fit for another great show at the Crystal Corner tonight.
Through locking ourselves in the barn on Irish Lane, tossing some ideas around, as well as a few choice beverages to...
Hey everybody, we were thrown for a loop by the twist this week, but were able to make one of our "oldie but a goldie" songs fit the mold.
We have a few songs that we have played consistently over the years, and we are very happy that we will be...
