Fresh New Music : The Musgraves

One band I predict you will be hearing more from is British band, The Musgraves.

Their popularity began in 2011 when they released a 4 song ep, “Lost in Familiarity” which led to their music being heard on ads on British television. In 2012, they were to perform on Graham Norton’s show, but all their gear was stolen from a rental van they were using.

Fortunately, they didn’t let that stop them and their full length album was released in Britain to rave reviews.

Now America will discover why the Brits love The Musgraves.

Here is their new single “Fortune Teller”

The Musgraves album “You That Way, I This Way” is available now.

America is in for a treat! :D
Yay! I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Musgraves!!! I listen to their album a lot, I love their style, their music is enthusiastic, quirky and feel good, their ballads are just so beautiful with gorgeous arrangements and vocals. Really lovely people too. There is a wonderful video of them on youtube with their song "Back to me" where they're just larking around. Just love it! If you want an album that fills you up with so much joy that you have to dance around the room singing at the top of your voice this is the one. 'Fortune Teller' is just a taste of their great music! The Musgraves are like sunshine in a bottle and their brilliant ballads shows their depth too. Original, catchy and fabulous! I'm a HUGE fan! I do hope they go global as it means another album and more singles! :) Love Jen (near London England)

Mayflies: faschinating, or horrifying? You decide.
The mayflies were out in full force over the past couple days. Now I've heard about these insects over the years, but have never experienced a mayfly swarm. I think I'm pretty happy about that. Apparently the mayflies were so thick they...
