This isn't the Wallflowers of "Sixth Avenue Heartache," or "One Headlight."
"Reboot the Mission," the first single from the Wallflowers upcoming album "Glad All Over" was inspired by the Clash, and Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan told Rolling Stone it just made sense to call on Mick Jones from the British punk band to take part. Jones plays guitar and sings on the song.
The song has a bit of a reggae shuffle/punk feel reminiscent of the Clash, and even mentions the late Joe Strummer in the lyrics.
What will the rest of the album be like? We'll have to wait until October 2nd when it's released on Columbia Records. In the meantime, the band is offering a free download in exchange for your email address.
