Free .mp3 from Explorers Club
Gabby Parsons introduced us to the band The Explorers Club on New Music Thursday. She was pretty fired up about the song "No Good To Cry," which is a cover of a song that was a regional hit in the 1960's for a band called the Wildweeds.

The Explorers Club is a 6-piece band from Charleston S.C., and they're happy to give you a free download of the song. Hope you like it!

The Heavy - What Makes a Good Man

The Heavy could be the best rock band you don't know you love! Having had tracks on television shows like Entourage, Californication, Community, and True Blood, video games Borderlands 2, and Batman: Arkham City, and a Kia Super Bowl commercial. They've even been the only band to get an encore on The Late Show with David Letterman! Considering this, it's unlikely you haven't been exposed.

The Heavy hail from England and have heavy guitar sound, mixed with soulful, voodoo feel. Their songs are full of energy and will most certainly get you moving. You can download their first single "What Makes a Good Man" of their new album "The Glorious Dead" by using the widget below!

Twist and Turn
We just received word of what this weeks twist is, and...oh boy. We need to take our "signature song" and cut it to only 2:30 without going over. Amberstein does not simply play 2:30 versions of our songs...so this could be interesting. Last...
