I love President Obama's daughters Sasha and Malia.
They seem so down to earth and real and I hope their life in the fishbowl won't be too hard on them. So I was pleased to hear that the company that makes Beanie Babies have decided to NOT name their first African American dolls Marvelous Maila and Sweet Sasha.
At first the company said the dolls were NOT representations of the First Daughters, it was just that the company " liked the sound of the names".
Yeah, right.
So from now on, the dolls will be called Marvelous Mariah and Sweet Sydney, and all proceeds from the sale of the dolls will be donated to charity.
I like the sound of that!
