So there's been some "talk" about Brett Favre coming to the Chicago Bears. The reports say Favre would listen to the Bears if they had something to say, BUT that doesn't mean he would come out of retirement to play for them. The report goes on to say Bears head coach Lovie Smith isn't interested in adding Favre to the roster.
Common sense should tell you one thing:
Favre will be in a Bears uniform in time for the game against the Packers on Christmas night.
It doesn't make sense, but that's the way sports seems to work. Think about it. When a manager gets a vote of confidence from his boss, what happens the next day? He gets fired.
Therefore, it makes perfect sense. Since Favre is not really sure he wants to play AND the Bears are not interested in him joining the team that he'll be back in the NFL by next week.
