The 8 at 8

Each weekday at 8am, Jonathan & Kitty present the 8 at 8. The 8 at 8 is a collection of eight songs, with a combined theme, meaning or unifying idea.

With two minds like Jonathan & Kitty, the song combinations are infinite.  They might be ridiculous too, but it's a infinite ridiculousness, just like Jonathan & Kitty.

Eight at Eight for October 24, 2013: Songs You Heard First on Triple M

It's a New Music Thursday on Triple M, so today we featured eight great songs you heard first on Triple M.

1979 by Smashing Pumpkins

Wild Child by Brett Dennen

Crazy by Gnarls Barkley

Ho Hey by The Lumineers

3am by Matchbox Twenty

Strong Enough by Sheryl Crow

Let Her Go by Passenger

And something brand new from The Alternate Routes called Nothing More.  In fact, The Alternate Routes wrote the song for a group called Newtown Kindness in memory of Charlotte Bacon.  She was one of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings.
