Each weekday at 8am, Jonathan & Kitty present the 8 at 8. The 8 at 8 is a collection of eight songs, with a combined theme, meaning or unifying idea.

With two minds like Jonathan & Kitty, the song combinations are infinite.  They might be ridiculous too, but it's a infinite ridiculousness, just like Jonathan & Kitty.


Eight at Eight for November 25, 2013: Songs That Started Out with Different Titl

Some songs started with different names.  The classic example is Yesterday by The Beatles.  The working title was Scrambled Eggs.   Here are eight songs that started with a different title:

You Found Me by The Fray was originally called Amistad

The Chain by Fleetwood Mac was originally called Butter Cookie

Vertigo by U2 was originally called Native Son

Tumbling Dice was originally called Good Time Woman

Wonderwall by Oasis was originally called Wishing Stone

Long Train Runnin' by The Doobie Brothers was originally called Osbourne

Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison was originally called Brown Skinned Girl

Life in a Northern Town by The Dream Academy was originally called Morning Lasted All Day
