Good news for Midwest coach accused of child pornography. ~Stevi

Minnesota State, Mankato coach Todd Hoffner has been living a nightmare since last May, when he was accused of having child pornography on his work phone. If you remember, last May was also around the time Penn State head coach was fired and brought up on charges for the same thing. Hoffner believes the school acted too hastily, and was wrongfully terminated after colleagues reported suspicious pictures of naked children on his company phone. The pictures were later found to be "innocent images of children acting playful after a bath".

Hoffner says the entire experience has been a nightmare, but hasn't jaded him to the school. In fact, his title has been reinstated this week. ""I'm not interested in revenge. ... I'm not a spiteful person," he said, but added that the situation could have been handled differently." - The mark of a true professional.

'Blood Moon' not as scary as it sounds. ~Stevi

Were you able to catch the 'blood moon' last night? It was a beautiful spectical presented by nature and the atmosphere that caused the moon to change color, ranging from bright orange to blood red. Not sure what it means or why it's such a big deal? Watch the video below, or read Huffington Post's article.

Bully gets taste of his own medicine. ~Stevi

This. Is. Amazing: After terrorzing a family with disabled children, a judge sentences a man to hold a sign which read "I am a bully I pick on children..."

The man says the sentence "ruined my life". I say, lesson learned. Hopefully, the justice system takes not of this case, and this type of punishment is more widely utilized.

Nirvana enters the Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame in a big way ~Stevi

The surviving members of Nirvana (Dave Grohl and Christ Novoselic) stole the show at last night's Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. It was great to see how close the two musicians are. Especially considering their fellow inducties KISS flat out refused to reunite to play just one song.

It has been 20 years since Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain took his life, and equally as long since Krist and Dave have performed even one Nirvana song, but they brought down the house with Joan Jett stepping up to fill Cobain's shoes for 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.

Kurt widow Courtney Love even behaved herself, extending warm words and hugs to Krist and Dave. I think the best speech of the night came from Kurt's mom Wendy. "...he'd be so proud. He'd say he wasn't, but he would be. I just miss him so much. I miss such an angel".

Full review of the night here.

Could this be the end of hunger? ~Stevi

This very well could be another one of countless internet hoaxes, however, I hope someone wouldn't be so cruel. If it isn't, this would one of the most brilliant moves ever made towards putting an end to hunger in this country. Think about it: fields of fresh fruits and vegetables for everyone and anyone.

Much of the homeless population deals with untreated mental illness; some that intensities could be dulled by the benefit of fresh fruits and vegetables. Would this mean much of the homeless would start to feel better about themselves, thus turning their lives around?

Not to mention families who do not have access to such produce who are on welfare or other government subsidies. What would the future hold for them when they're able to access vital nutrients for free?

Ok, I may be getting a little ahead of myself here. My point is, I think this would revolutionize our future. What do you think? Comment below!

MLB player being chastised for what? ~Stevi

Recently, Mets' second baseman Daniel Murphy came under fire for something that most people wouldn't bat (pun intended) an eye at: taking time off for the birth of his child.

Why is this a thing? That's my question as well. New York radio host Mike Francesca took 20 minutes out of his show to rake Murphy through the coals about his decision to take 3 days off to fly to Florida to be with his wife for the birth of his child. Apparently, paternity leave doesn't exist in baseball. So, does he think planning children's births, and other milestones should be planned around baseball games?

This guy either doesn't have kids, or is a very lonely, heartless man, or am I the weird one? Comment with your thoughts below!
