I know Mitt Romney is rich, but sometimes I foget how rich. He's building a new vacation home in San Diego. Okay, that's cool. It has a four car garage. Okay, I'm jealous he has a four car garage, but no big deal. However, the house has an elevator...for the cars.
Seriously?
Yes. Romney's home has an elevator for the cars!!! I think this story is going to make it hard for the voters to relate to him.
How can he relate this to the common man? Maybe he can talk about how elevator rides can be awkward with strangers. However, it would sound a little different.
Mitt: "You know how riding in an elevator with someone you don't know can be uncomfortable?"
Common man: "Yes. I never know what to talk about."
Mitt: "Usually I just roll up my window so I don't have to talk to the other person."
Common man: "Roll up the window? What are you talking about?"
Mitt: "What's the problem? If I'm my Mercedes Benz is parked next to someone in a rather sketchy car like a Ford Taurus. I simply roll up the windows."
Common man: "Are you serious?"
Mitt: "Yeah. Why? What do you do when there's someone who is being unruly in a car elevator?"
Common man: In a sarcastic voice: "I just don't give them any of my Grey Poupon."
