Dar Williams is going to be playing the Barrymore theater, October 27th and will be donating $1 for every ticket sold to the Partner Shares Program of the Madison Area Community Supported Agriculture Coalition (MACSAC).
Eating healthy foods is super important but being on a tight budget can make that a bit of a challenge. The Partner Shares Program of MACSAC is easing that burden for less fortunate families in Wisconsin. Their aim is to improve nutrition by making fresh fruits and veggies more accessible.
Partner Shares provides financial assistance for fresh, sustainable grown produce from local CSA farms and at the same time raises money for an Assistance Fund which is used to subsidize CSA shares for low-income households.
