Green Day postpones concerts
Green Day has announced it's canceling a club tour that was scheduled for the end of this year, and is postponing concerts scheduled for January and February, 2013.
That includes the show originally scheduled for February 2nd in Madison at the Alliant Energy Center.

According to a press release on the band's website, the show in Madison and the others in January and February will be rescheduled, and tickets purchased for those shows will be honored at the future dates. They say those dates should be announced soon.

The band acknowledges that the timing of this isn't ideal, but say the well being of lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong is the most important thing. Armstrong entered rehab after freaking otu at a concert in Las Vegas in September.

Meanwhile the band says it has moved up the release of it's album Tre! to December 11th.

According to Green Day drummer Tre Cool, "We feel bad we have to delay our tour, so to make up for it we want to give our fans the music earlier than we had planned."

Rolling Stones Announce Tour
The Rolling Stones celebrate 50 years as a band this year, so there's been a ton of speculation about whether or not they'd do some kind of anniversary tour.

Just announced: the Stones will do a tour, sort of.  They're doing two shows in London at the O2 (November 25 and 29) and two shows in, of all places, Newark New Jersey at the Prudential Center December 13 and 15.

Tickets for the New Jersey shows will range from $95 to $750, and that's Ticketmaster prices....before the scalpers get their hands on them.

Here's hoping the band is in good spirits and good health, and has so much fun they decide to do a bigger tour next year.

Watch the Stones make the big announcement:

Have you heard the song "Rumble and Sway" yet on Triple M? The singer sounds like a raspy blues dude who's definitely been around the block a few times....but surprisingly, Jamie N. Commons is only 23 years old! He was born in England, but...

New food of the week: Kale
Last week, I decided I would try one new, healthy food a week, and asked my facebook friends to make some suggestions. The first thing I tried was mango. I'm sure I've had other mango flavored things, and mango as part of something else, but...

World's Worst iPod: You Don't Bring Me Flowers
There's only one thing that might be worse than the Neil Diamond/Barbra Streisand duet "You Don't Bring Me Flowers." And that's Jonathan Suttin doing his best crooning...doing both parts. Most unpleasant. A lot of people liked this song...

Last weeks challenge we thought went excellent! Of course we are a little biased. The drinking song couldn't have been any better, or any less fun. We had a blast through out the whole process, and our performance rocked. This week is an easy...

World's Worst iPod: The Girl is Mine by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney
So the story goes Michael Jackson completed this song while watching cartoons with Paul McCartney. We'll just let that sink in for a moment. Not sure what cartoons they were watching, but it must have worked because this song made it to number 2...
