The new Harry Potter movie premiered at midnight, and every one's just wild about Harry. But I've been doing some in depth analysis of the young wizard, and determined that he has a lot in common with another Potter.
Colonel Sherman T. Potter from M*A*S*H.
Here's my list so far. Feel free to add to it.
1. Both Col. Potter and Harry Potter wear glasses. (OK, so he's not wearing them in this picture.)
2. Col. Potter's sidekick Radar O'Reilly is an animal lover, who found the colonel a horse. Harry's pal Hagrid has a hippogriff, giant spider, and 3-headed dog.
3. Harry Potter attends Hogwart's. Col. Potter often said "Hogwash."
4. Col. Potter's wife is named Mildred. Harry's gal pal is Hermione. Both names contain an M, I, R, and E.
5. Col. Potter has a horse named Sophie. Harry has an owl named Hedwig, but in draft versions of the original novels, the owl was named Sophie.*
*may not actually be true
COMING TOMORROW--HARRY POTTER VS. MR. POTTER FROM "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE"
And they both love to ride horses. though i'm not sure that the Col ever rode Sophie naked.

Today is World Goth Day, a day to celebrate the post-punk, anti-establishment, dark clothes-wearing subculture.
I'm pretty sure I was a Goth for at least for little while, for two reasons.
