What does Jonathan have to say?

But how much for a napkin?

yankeeBigger and more expensive sports stadiums are being built these days and it's hard to believe how much they cost.  The new Yankee Stadium cost $1.5 BILLION dollars.  Yes, BILLION.  The new home of the Dallas Cowboys was a little less.  It was only $1.1 BILLION. I'm a huge sports fan, but it's still hard to believe both those places had to cost so much money.  At one point, prime seats at Yankee Stadium were going for $2,500 a ticket per game.  The Yanks actually had to lower the price a bit because the seats weren't selling that well. Apparently, Cowboys Stadium will also have a few high priced items.  A report from Steven Stipple from the Lincoln Journal World says a pizza in in one of the skyboxes at a game will cost $90!  Yes, $90.  I guess that's just a drop in the bucket considering that it costs $800,000 to get even get box and that doesn't include the tickets. I'm starting to think that if these sports franchises can get this kind of money for pizza, they shouldn't stop there.  I've created newdallascowboystadiuman "extras" list both the Yankees and Cowboys can use for those fans who are willing to shell out whatever to see a game. Sports Enjoyment Menu Congratulations on having enough cash to see two of America's most storied organizations.  However for full enjoyment of the game here are some other items that should enhance your experience. Official Mini-Fan Appreciation Napkins Spirit Cloths: No one can really watch a game without an official spirit cloth.  Wave these during the game to cheer on the team.   That' s not all!  These can also be used to wipe away some extra caviar from the side of your face. Cost $100.00 Official Bag of Potato Chips Special Food Made of a Thin Slice of White Potato that has been cooked until crisp and then usually salted:  This delicious small disk can be eaten one at a time or several at once.  Cost $75 per disk. Small Fork Spirit Spear:  This item is great for holding up in the air when the team scores!  Plus it can be used to grab those small pieces of noodles vermicelli.  Cost$150 for Spirit Spear and $65 per strand of Vermicelli.

One small detail I like about Bonnaroo ... the security people's shirts say "Safety" and "Here to help". They seem well-trained and they do the things security folk do ... but I like the emphasis on safety and that they're doing these things...

Reflections On Jack Johnson At Bonnaroo
The Jack Johnson show last night was terrific. He'd been coming just to hang out with other musicians, maybe do a late night jam with friends in ALO. Very low-pro, as Jack said. That changed when Mumford had their medical emergency...
