Did you hear the one about the cows that were so cold they decided to mooove it on down the road to find someplace warm to hang out?
This morning I was delighted to report about a family in Marathon County (Central Wisconsin) who woke up to find about a dozen cows had broken into their garage. Not only had they ambled a mile or so down the road, they actually passed by another garage that was open, only to break into a locked garage, turn on the lights, and open an electronic garage door.
Now those are some smart cows!
Jonathan wondered why no one in the house heard the rampaging bovines. I speculated it was because the residents were partying until the cows came home, and probably had the music up too loud. (Or were the cows partying until the humans came home?)
Now I've started wondering about the origin of the term "until the cows come home," so I looked it up. Apparently it goes way back, and you can read about it here.
