I thought by now they would have gone away. Those plastic shoe-like things that people wear on their feet---Crocs! But I'm afraid they're now more popular than ever.
I remember the first time I noticed the Croc phenomonen. I was hanging out in the Denver airport a few years ago and it seemed every one was wearing them. Kids, moms, dads, grandparents...they were EVERYWHERE!
Then I started noticing them here in Wisconsin too. And now that spring is in the air...I've started seeing them again. Are they no longer a fad, now entering into the realm of timeless tradition? I hope not. I think they look ridiculous on any one over 6.
Remember Dr. Scholls sandals? Earth shoes? Clogs? I say it's time we put Crocs in the same dark reaches of the closet with them.
In case you need more evidence that it's time for them to go...may I present...Steven Tyler.
They're company is based here in Denver, so probably the reason for the extra presence at the airport.
I'll never wear them, and they were extremely popular a few years back but I believe the company is almost bankrupt now
