A little snow? Cold? We can take it!

snowplowA big winter storm is headed our way..with frigid cold temps to follow. Luckily, the hearty souls of Wisconsin are tough enough to handle it. I want to thank Triple M listener Gary John Feest for sharing this with us on Facebook. WHEN THE TEMPS GET: 60 ABOVE ZERO: FLORIDIANS TURN ON THE HEAT. PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN PLANT GARDENS. ... 50 ABOVE ZERO: CALIFORNIANS SHIVER UNCONTROLLABLY. PEOPLE IN SUPERIOR SUNBATHE. 40 ABOVE ZERO: ITALIAN & ENGLISH CARS WON'T START. PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN DRIVE WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN. 32 ABOVE ZERO: DISTILLED WATER FREEZES. THE WATER IN HAYWARD GETS THICKER. 20 ABOVE ZERO: FLORIDIANS DON COATS, THERMAL UNDERWEAR, GLOVES, WOOL HATS. PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN THROW ON A FLANNEL SHIRT. 15 ABOVE ZERO: NEW YORK LANDLORDS FINALLY TURN UP THE HEAT. PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN HAVE THE LAST COOKOUT BEFORE IT GETS COLD. ZERO: PEOPLE IN MIAMI ALL DIE. PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN CLOSE THE WINDOWS. 10 BELOW ZERO: CALIFORNIANS FLY AWAY TO MEXICO PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN GET OUT THEIR WINTER COATS. 25 BELOW ZERO: HOLLYWOOD DISINTEGRATES. THE GIRL SCOUTS IN WISCONSIN ARE SELLING COOKIES DOOR TO DOOR. 40 BELOW ZERO: WASHINGTON DC RUNS OUT OF HOT AIR. PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN LET THE DOGS SLEEP INDOORS. 100 BELOW ZERO: SANTA CLAUS ABANDONS THE NORTH POLE. WISCONSINITES GET UPSET BECAUSE THEY CAN'T START THE MINI-VAN. 460 BELOW ZERO: ALL ATOMIC MOTION STOPS (ABSOLUTE ZERO ON THE KELVIN SCALE.) The next Jonny Lang? Quinn Sullivan is the real deal
I was up in Wausau for the Big Bull Falls Blues Fest, and had a great time watching all the great live music. The big surprise of the day was the guy who played at 3pm. He's just 15 years old and is a good friend of Buddy Guy, and even got to play...

World's Worst iPod: Young MC "Bust a Move"
Kitty apppeared to be all alone on her dislike of this song, which made it to #7 on the charts in 1989. Rolling Stone described the song this way: "a G-rated funk-bomb integral to hip-hop's eventual mainstream acceptance." The G-rating probably...

World's Worst iPod: Hall & Oates "Method of Modern Love"
Hall & Oates had a lot of great hits in the 1970s and 1980s, and if you believe a lot of folks, this is NOT one of them! This song with its amazing spelling lesson hook made it all the way to #5 on the charts in February of 1985. We're a...

Will this be Clapton's last record?
Eric Clapton definitely has retirement in mind. He hinted to Rolling Stone recently that he may quit touring and recording, and only play for family and friends. We can look forward to at least one more new Clapton record before he hangs up his Strat...
