With Bonnaroo only 2 days away I’m scrambling to pull together the last minute details. I’ve burned Bonnaroo CD’s for the 10-hour car ride down to Manchester, TN. I’ve packed the necessities for memory making and preserving such as a camera, video flip cam, etc. I’ve checked off my camping list so I’m prepared for the heat and rain. And I’ve stashed snacks and beverages a plenty in hopes to save a little money. Now if I could just get there already! These remaining 2 days are going to drag. As if I haven’t driven my co-workers and friends insane already with my non-stop babbling of Bonnaroo. I think they are all ready to ship me off themselves.
I’ve decided to not worry about the weather (at least I’m trying). Predictions say scattered T-storms. Scattered is better than constant, right? I may be grateful for a drop of rain or 4 given the temps are to be in the 80’s.
I’ve also decided not to worry too much about getting from one concert to another. I’m just going to get there and let the days plan themselves (with a small amount of direction from the MUST SEE bands). If you asked me in April who I was excited to see, I would’ve said Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys, Bruce Springsteen…but the list has changed! I’ve been introduced to a few new bands since then from my research and I would move Citizen Cope straight up to the top now. I highly recommend checking out my video and blog for Sunday, June 14th. Although, I may just be speechless and melting in his presence. Only time will tell.

Today is World Goth Day, a day to celebrate the post-punk, anti-establishment, dark clothes-wearing subculture.
I'm pretty sure I was a Goth for at least for little while, for two reasons.
1) I almost hardly ever wear pastels.

It's a miracle that both Jonathan and KItty wanted to hear Barry Manilow this morning. They were not alone. Plenty of Fanilow's called in to vote yes. One caller claimed to have seen Manilow in concert 25 times!
