Peter Wolf Crier is a duo that was formed in the Midwest and just released their debut album Inter-Be in May of this year and have been touring ever since. They are composed of Peter Pisano and Brian Moen. Pisano is known for being part of the quartet Wars of 1812 and teamed up with drummer Moen and they have taken off from there.
This band said in an interview with Spinner that their main influences were Wilco and The Beatles and it really shows in their playing style. They have the tranquility of Iron & Wine, but are growing slowly to be their own creative group. Their album has some stretch marks, but I really think this is a group to watch for in the future.
