My Morning Jacket are hard at work recording new material in a church in their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. The band has recorded five new tracks and expects the album out mid-2011, likely May or so. MMJ frontman Jim James talked to Rolling Stone Magazine about the new material and said, “It’s all live, so the vibe is really, really good, really wholesome. There’s something about it. We’ve done stuff mostly live but then you do some overdubs, some vocals, or whatever. But we’re trying to do everything other than maybe strings live. There’s just something old and dirty about it.” more infoMumford & Sons Announce North American Fall Tour
