[Bonnaroo] All wrapped up...back to the real world...

My long weekend at Bonnaroo has sadly come to an end as I have returned to the Triple M office.  I had an absolutely amazing experience and enjoyed nearly every moment (the exception being waking up sweating and finding little relief all day).  The music throughout the weekend was diverse and sounded great.  The atmosphere and crowd was friendly and kind.  Bonnaroo was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend the festival to anyone and everyone no matter your musical taste.  I am already looking forward to next year! As far as music goes, my top three performances of the weekend include the hometown Kings of Leon, rapper and all around entertainer Jay-Z, and the smooth yet funky sounds of Daryl Hall and Chromeo.  All performances throughout the weekend were very solid. Our humble campsite Inside the Centeroo area Relief from the heat and humidity in Centeroo Thousands of people and cars equals...mud. The King of all stages, The What Stage!  During Nas and Damian Marley The second largest stage, the Which Stage There are three stages about this size, this is the That Tent Umphrey's McGee performing Friday afternoon at the Which Stage British folk rockers Mumford & Sons Indie rockers Local Natives on Thursday Mayer Hawthorne and the County jammed their groovy sound late night I hope this was not the first and last live show by these guys together, Daryl Hall and Chromeo The famous Bonnaroo bobbleheads were painted in World Cup uniforms this year. The wonderful people of Bonnaroo dancing in the glistening sun.  The man in neon has a sign that reads "Smile! You're at Bonnaroo!" I will admit, I smiled a few times this weekend. A short clip I shot of Damian Marley with Nas performing the Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved" to close up their set. A short clip I recorded of Mumford & Sons playing their song "Little Lion Man."  Be sure to check out their release Sigh No More. Bonnaroo 2010 was a huge success!  Already anticipating next year!
